Jaguars Sign Montell Owens To Extension
The Jaguars have signed running back Montell Owens to a contract extension.
He is also a special teams ace for Jacksonville.
Owens, who made the Pro Bowl for the first time last season, is currently recovering from a knee injury, but the contract talks were well along even before he suffered the injury.
The deal is believed to be similar to the three-year, $6.675 million deal that Kassim Osgood signed with the Jaguars as a free agent a year ago.
